New York State Senator Michael Nozzolio presented a 9/11 NRF to
United States Air Force Staff Sgt. Robert Rose Jr., who assisted in
rescue operations after the attack on the Pentagon three years ago.

2005

Geneva - Senator Mike Nozzolio recently spoke at the City of Geneva's special 9-11 Memorial ceremony. The ceremony took place at the Geneva lakefront beneath the special 9-11 Commemorative Flag that was designed and created by Steve and Joanne Galvin of Wolcott, New York. This year's ceremony held a special significance for Joanne as Steve Galvin passed away earlier this year after a courageous battle with cancer. Pictured left to right are Senator Mike Nozzolio, Joanne Galvin, her daughter Karen Fitzmaurice, Brenda Vosburg, and Joanne's nephew Scott Hubbard.

9/11 Ceremony - Flight 93 Temporary Memorial - Shanksville, PA

Webster Senator Mike Nozzolio recently joined members of the Webster community in a ceremony marking the 6th anniversary of September 11th. Senator Nozzolio presented the Town of Webster with a special 9-11 remembrance flag that was created by Steve and Joanne Galvin to commemorate the lives lost that day as well as the sacrifices made by the emergency personnel who responded from throughout the Country. Vicki and Daniel Perez during the Emily J.T. Perez Foundation
Banquet at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, VA.
Mr. & Mrs. Perez are the parents of 2nd Lt. Emily Perez, the first
Black/Hispanic female honors graduate from West Point to lose
her life in Iraq. Emily Perez was 23 years old when she was
killed by a roadside bomb in 2006.
